Mass on Ben Nevis

On Friday morning, 24th August, a group of thirty- three people set out from the car park at Achintee (accessed from the village of Claggan in Fort William) to ascend Ben Nevis and to celebrate Mass on the summit. The people in the group varied in age, physical fitness and mountain climbing experience, but there was huge enthusiasm present from the start, despite the falling rain.........
