Novena to St Thérèse of Lisieux

Dear brothers and sisters,

It is now only nine days until the relics of St Thérèse of Lisieux arrives at our Cathedral. I hope that many of you can pray at the relics at some point in Oban but I also appreciate that, given our geography, for many this will not be possible. Don’t worry about that because all of us can still receive the graces of this special occasion.  St Thérèse Novena Cards have already been distributed in your parishes and, if you have not yet begun, I invite everyone in the diocese to pray the Novena and then you will also be spiritually part of the happy events in the Cathedral. Why not start today?

St Thérèse promised that she would “let fall a shower of roses” for she would spend her heaven doing good on earth.  May we all be blessed by the presence of St Thérèse’s relics in our diocese.
